Become a Member

Membership of the Society is open to anyone. Our Society includes members of the judiciary, practising lawyers, academic lawyers, historians and members of the general public. Any person with an interest in Irish legal history is cordially invited to apply for membership.

Members of the Society receive:

• On publication each volume brought out by the Society
• Invitations to attend the Society's annual general meeting with its accompanying scholarly discourse
• Other lectures organised by the Society

New members are also entitled to purchase earlier publications of the Society at a special membership discount rate.

The annual subscription is €60/£40/$70 and falls due on 1 July. It may be paid by:

• Standing order directly to the Society's account in Dublin or Belfast
• Direct remittance to the treasurer

To facilitate US subscribers, the Society maintains an account with Citizens Bank, New Hampshire, details of which are available from the secretaries.
